CK's head, part 2: One second of fame

This is to follow up on Chris's fine post on the screencap that shows him clearly stalking Ayaya as she sang "Yeah!" during last January's Hello Project Winter 2008 Awards Show at Yokohama Arena. The photo at top also ran on CK's H!P Blog, but I jacked up the contrast a tad on this one. It washes out Ayaya, but shows Chris glowering in the background, like a Dracula lurking in the shadows.

... but not before Rad, whose hat clearly shows the white-check Nike logo, shows up.

In the bottom screencap, taken less than a second before Chris showed up, Rad can be seen, glasses, backwards Nike tam hat and all, stuck at the end of Ayaya's microphone. And, yes, that 's Rad's hand pointing in Ayaya's direction, sans glowstick (should have gotten some!). No doubt this will be a Jan. 27 to remember forever. Hopefully, the moment can be relived at Hello Project's Winter 2009 concert, but only fate will determine that.

As Rad shared on CK's H!P Blog's comments, it is one thing to pull off getting to one of these concerts, even more remarkable to gain admission to the very show where the DVD shoot would take place, to have a shot at actually appearing on the DVD itself. The odds of actually getting on tape are astronomical, much less the facial shots seen here. It is one for the record books, and what amounts to digital immortality.

Chris also makes another legitimate point: Can it possibly get any better than this? It sounds great to go again and already plan on a return pilgrimmage in January 2009 to Yokohama Arena, but would disappointment be the ultimate result?
